Building a Framework by Abby Lawson – This video course with its own ebook will take you from scratch to money-making blog. Every video tutorial is packed full of practical advice that you can implement as you watch. I go back to it again and again whenever I get stuck.
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing by Michelle Schroeder-Gardner – This is my affiliate marketing Bible. It seriously gives you everything you need to know in one place from the Queen of Affiliate marketing. Michelle regularly makes more than $60K a month in affiliate income and she’s the one you want to learn from.
Bluehost – If you’re looking to start a WordPress blog for cheap, then choosing Bluehost for your hosting needs may be your answer. Genesis/StudioPress: If you are looking into the actual design of your blog, Genesis is the easiest framework to both use and update. I use the Genesis Framework on my blog, and I highly recommend it. It’s affordable too!
Brunch Pro Theme/Studiopress: Once you have your Genesis Framework, you need to install a child theme on it to make it pretty. Feast Designs does a beautiful job and they’re available through Studiopress, the same place you get your Genesis Framework.
ConvertKit: This is the easiest way to build your email list for your blog so that you can monetize your site faster and better. With ConvertKit, you can build custom email opt-in forms and landing pages with a few clicks and they integrate right into your WordPress site. ConvertKit was built by bloggers for bloggers so it’s no wonder that more and more bloggers are switching to this amazing resource.
PicMonkey: I use PicMonkey to create all of my pictures so that they are not just boring stock photos and are great for pinning on Pinterest. Using PicMonkey ensures you get interesting and eye-catching photos that will get people to click. PicMonkey is also very affordable. You can buy their membership for just $2.75 per month and it comes with a lot of amazing features. I highly recommend PicMonkey and it’s something I use for every post I write.
Tailwind: Tailwind is great for helping you design a workable, easy Pinterest strategy to promote your blog. It allows you to schedule your Pinterest pins and look at the analytics related to that so that you can see what’s working and what isn’t. To put it simply, it will save you time so that you can get your blog off the ground faster and more effectively.
Ebates: Sign up for a website like Ebates where you can earn free CASH BACK for just spending like how you normally would online.
